The place was great and the service was excellent. I particularly want to say kudos to our server Rita ( if I'm not mistaken ). Very articulate, clear and understanding what we wanted. She presented good choices to us as we ordered our meals. We had a very good evening and enjoyed a great atmosphere thanks! She told about your rewards program....very nice!
First of all the appetizers rolled out about 5 minutes after sitting down, so fast we didn't have our drinks yet! However, our experience declined from there on when we were served bad salmon, and the steak was about as tough as Chuck Norris. Our service however was absolutely phenomenal! Tyler was completely amazing and apologized repeatedly. We ended up tipping him as much as our meal we were so impressed. So if you're in the area and want excellent service, but food that tastes like it was served fresh from the dumpster come here to TGIF Friday's in Newark Delaware!
Kyle(server) was quick to get to our table and acknowledged that he would be with us after running dishes from another table to the back. He got us the drinks quickly. He took the food orders and the food was out in under 10 minutes. Music was at a good volume and it wasn't extremely busy.
Our food was delicious. Our server was cheery and happy but not really on top of our table. My husband's drink went empty. We had to ask for boxes 3 times while we were trying to make it to a movie. It is one of the better locations for Friday's we have eaten at though.
Our waitress was very pleasant and quick to get are order started off good but went downhill. I ordered a frozen drink that has salt on rim I got drink on the rocks instead no biggie but it had alot of salt in the drink sent back waitress brought new drink this time frozen but again it tasted like salt was poured in the drink so I paid for a drink I didn't even drink. Also the ribs came out with pieces of tin foil from the grill stuck to ribs. Was disappointed with the drinks and food
