Started off on a bad foot as there was no one to greet us, but I guess that is not awful, so we just sat ourselves along with another group. Service was very slow, but once the server came he was very nice. Took us a while to get asked our order. The server took our order along with the order for another party. We arrived at 6:30 or so, had our order taken at 6:45...then the wait began. The party that ordered along with us was served probably around 7:15. We just kept on waiting for food and kept on waiting. They finished their food for a good amount of time and other people who came after us were served. Around 7:55 or so, I saw the manager walk by and complained about the food not arriving. Managed to get the food about 10 minutes after that, so it took an hour and 20 minutes to receive our food. What I ordered was not very good, but the wings that we ordered were pretty good. The food that we had were average at best overall. Like I said, the server was nice, but didn't see that much of him.
We finished our food and received the check. We were given an apology by the manager for the lateness of the food and given a lousy 10% discount. I should also mention that the restaurant was not very busy at all. I will never go there again, which is a shame as it could have been a nice place. This is the first time I have written anything so negative, but this was absolutely the worst experience I have had with food before.
I can't recommend this place at all, I feel cheated.
The portions were large and the fried chicken was amazing. You can tell the staff enjoys working there because they were so nice. They let you seat yourself. I guess its so you can sit were you feel like you have the best view of the TV's.
I highly recommend this restaurant, from the amazing food, to the great staff, this was an all around Great experience. I will definately be back, the food was ready after of first round of drinks, the crab cakes were amazing, my friends said the ribs and the fried chicken were out of this world, and the waiter was friendly and attentive. I would suggest Sweet T's to anyone and everyone, it was a great time and a great night.
I'm very upset because I came three weeks in a row and I would of continued if they told me there was already a gratuity added to their checks, so all my friends and I were tipping them 40% on burgers and fries..not good business and just not cool...
