The appearance is a little shabby. It feels like the owners do not care much for the appearance of the place. Overall its a place to go to for a quick lunch if you work around 202 and don't want to travel very far for Indian food.....I would not spend more time there after lunch..Definitely not a place to go to for a nice evening out or a date as it is not very cozy or welcoming....The exterior could use a lot of help as well...It is very easy to miss ..almost invisible...
I feel the owners and the staff need a lesson in manners and proper customer care...I was rude to on both the occasions when I visited the place. Once for asking if they has a bowl so I could have the rice pudding when the options where a tea cup and a quarter plate..!! The response was "we do not have bowls"....Come on.!!!.Why start a restaurant if you cannot afford to buy proper cutlery....
overall good value for money, owner should consider upgrading the overall look a little bit to boost the ambiance.
The decor is nothing special. In fact, you could probably argue that it doesn't exist. The food, on the other hand, I've found to be consistently good and fairly priced. As others have noted, it's certainly the best on Rt. 202. I will continue to frequent this place.
The food was pretty good and the dhal soup was very different from traditional dhal, but very nice.
Friendly and tasty
The food is better than Nirvana and India Grill on 202 and for the pricing the quality is ok. I am sure they can do better.
