Love this place. Never had a nad meal. I do not eat sushi so i cant say but the teriyaki and tempura dishes are so yummy. Quiet neighborhood place where your business is very much appreciated.
Not giving 5 stars because there are some items on the menu I wouldn't recommend. Only a few. But the sushi is always a slam dunk (4 years coming here with family and friends).
I was a bit annoyed. #1 no options for children. They don't even carry Milk and you can plan on paying $13-16 per child to eat. #2 when you order Sashimi the cut of fish should be a certain thickness and have a type of stiffness. Their cut was similar to a carpaccio style, limp, and very thin. This was extremely disappointing.
You may be better off ordering a sushi roll. I don't know. But the sushi etiquette was way below standard.

Go to Sake Hana if you want crazy Americanized sushi rolls and martinis you cannot pronounce.
We had a selection of sushi that was pretty good. We eat there every couple of months. We never had to wait for a seat, however I can imagine that there would be times when you might have to wait because there had been times when the restaurant was full.
Go to Rice if you want commercialized and overpriced sushi.
Great sushi selection and friendly staff! I wish they had more of a sake selection. Other than that I've been going here for years and will continue to do so.
I will not be revisiting nor suggesting this restaurant to others.
Sushi is always fresh. Service is always spot on. Sushi chef's training in Japan for 10 years certainly paid off.
Come to Kyoto if you like reasonably priced, good sushi and want to support a local restaurant.
Although the establishment was clean and service was good. The food was a disappointment. If you are new to trying sushi this may be the place for you. But if you are an experienced sushi eater then look elsewhere.
