We ordered a large cheese steak and it was so disappointing! There wasn't even enough meat on the roll for a small cheese steak let alone a large. The sandwich was 90% bread. When we asked about the lack of meat on the sandwich we were told "Oh, it does look its not a lot, but that's because they were supposed to spread it out. Let me spread the meat for you." Ummm spreading the meat won't change the amount of meat on all of this bread! We kindly returned the sandwich and got our money back. I'll never return here. If I want Capriotti's I'll try another location.
Purchased a small and large sub. Large sub came out and barely had any meat on it. Took it back and showed the cashier and he said "I'm sorry...it looks like they didn't spread the meat enough to cover the bread. If they did it wouldn't look like this." I immediately cancelled my entire order, told the 5 people that were supposed to be meeting me there not to come, and went and found another steak shop. I don't recommend this place at all. Such a shame because I used to love coming to this shop.
The best cheese steak ever. Employees are helpful, polite, and clean. The restaurant is very family friendly.
Didnt have what i wanted at the moment, but still a good place to buy herbs/herbal supplements.
After calling to order 4 times (once being hung up on, the other 3 being seemingly forgotten on hold) we finally placed our order on the 5th call. We were told 30 minutes for 2 cold subs. When we arrived, it had been 30 minutes and the order was not ready. We sat there and waited and watched someone come in after us, order at the counter, and get her sub before us. When we asked about it we were told that's the way they did things there and if we had an issue, we could speak to Rupert (who was not helpful at all another time we got the wrong order from them). Also, while there, I saw Rupert making a sandwich, stop to answer the phone with his gloves, take the order, and then proceeded to continue making sandwiches all with the same gloves. One of the sandwiches barely had dressing on it (Cole Turkey). While we love Cappriottis, I don't believe we will use this location ever again. Poor quality and poor customer service. Very disappointing.
