Other than that, everything was great. 10/10 for customer service.
He then brought me over to a Google representative name Michael. Although, Mike did admit that he was more knowledgeable about the Google Chromebook, he did try his best to try to explain the features of the phone and I think he did a wonderful job.
Needed help installing a car stereo. Asked 4 employees for help, all of them said they would send someone to help us. After waiting where we we're told to wait for 30 minutes an employee finally showed up. Some ignorant idiot walks up to the aisle where we've been waiting and gets the attention of the employee as soon as she shows up. The employee helps her for another 30 minutes before us. After waiting for over an hour to ask a simple question the employee finally helps us.
I had an appointment with Joe from the Geek Squad. I needed help transferring pictures from a micro flash drive onto a Mac computer. He also showed me (and wrote down step by step directions), taking information directly from Samsung phone to Mac computer. He was very helpful and nice. Employees at Best Buy are very helpful.
After Michael left, the first employee who brought me over checked up on me to make sure I was finding everything I needed and I did. At that point, I was basically sold on the Google Pixel 2.
This is just ONE MORE reason I have chosen to no longer shop at Best Buy. Their horrible customer service, terrible return policy (14/15 day window) and awful rebate offerings. I have had nothing but trouble with them over the last 15 years and will make certain to never shop here again and never accept a gift from here again. In today's retail settings many other companies offer impeccable customer experiences. I choose to spend my money with any one of those retailers from now on.
Had a great experience here with the customer service! I originally went in to get some additional information about a new phone (my old one had broke and I was looking to see the physical versions of a phone before making my final purchase.
This was my first time ever coming into a Best Buy, so I had no idea where everything was. After a couple of minutes, I was approached by one of their employees who asked if I needed help. I admitted I was looking to get some more information on phones. He asked me if there were any features in particular I was looking for and I said a great camera. (I'm very sorry I didn't catch the employees name, but he was very knowledgeable about the items in store.) I mentioned that I'm not a fan of Apple products, so he recommended a google pixel 2.
I despise Best Buy! While I am grateful my husband bought me a smart watch for Christmas, I am sad he got it from Best Buy. He purchased it in SC before Christmas at a great price. When I chose to exchange it for a different style at our local store in DE after Christmas they refused to honor the sale price and I had to pay full price ($70 more) and the protection plan increased by $10. Three days later I found it on sale at Best Buy ($50 less with a $10 cheaper protection plan) and went in the store for their price match guarantee. They credited the $50 but had to give me a $10 gift card for the protection plan difference. WHY??? The associate said the system didn't automatically allow the $10 protection plan credit so she could not credit it back. I HAD to accept a store gift card.
Had a great experience here. Found a good deal on a pair of monitors. The associate that assisted my was an HP employee but answered questions on all the brands not just his own. And he answered a bunch of questions on laptops just for my information as this purchase will wait until next year. But I will be back to buy it.
The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for because my carrier is Sprint and the only financing option that was given for the Google Pixel 2 was for Verizon carrier customers. As a student, a financing option works better for me. I was able to go to the google store online and they offered a financing option, so I was able to get it from there.
