I paid for my dryer to be repaired and after they tried 2 times it still was not fixed and they refused to give a refund!
If it's already closed, you could try Sears (Scratch & Dent) Outlet, but BEAR IN MIND that Sears location is INFAMOUS for clerks & MANAGERS consciously LYING non-stop with claims buyers will receive parts the appliance isn't displayed with & that every single repair a potential buyer could dream of will be done before delivery. They won't and they aren't -- Sears Outlet is What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG). Caveat Emptor. But maybe you can negotiate with John to find a time he'll already be there & stop by then.
