I used to have 5 stars but This is my second time going and the staff are very sweet nice lady's owner very sweet first time no problems second time I asked the young lady doing my hair to leave out my edges she said no problem twords the end of my braiding another lady came to help and started to pull anything she could get her hands on the young lady who has been working on my head all along said " no she doesn't want her front all braided her hair is soft she said it will fall out" and her reply no it won't it won't fall out I can catch any hair even baby hair I can do it " as another one who thought I couldn't understand her says "why do customers always think they have counted their hair before leaving as if when she leaves she's going to count each strand to see if it will fall out girl hush " I thought that was really rude kinda rubbed me the wrong way the original woman did a great job even saying well the customer doesn't want it u have to follow her request she's right !! and I tipped her good because she was nice she did a great job I can't even honestly say the one talking trash was employee but she was sitting their all day with them but please do not go agents a client request because you want to do what you want to do and then talk bad about the client as they are in the chair and can hear you not nice not nice at all other then that they do really good work that incident just slightly rubbed me the wrong way
Always leave happy!! Tess "the owner" is the best. She's a sweet lady and make sure you are satisfied before you leave. Great work by all the ladies.

Been going to Tess shop for awhile this past visit I was truly disappointed. I should have known not to sit in any stylist chair who had to argue with the whole shop in order to get my hair started. At the new shop she works the first chair to the right. She does not do a good job. They had to tell her to just do my hair. After leaving and not even a month of having my braids installed they started slipping bad. I looked at the braids that were slipping and she had so much hair on such a small section of my hair. Some were big. Some were small. My braids where not uniformed at all. Horrible job. Had to take it down way before I should have cause how poor of a job the lady had done. I will not be returning. I wanted to keep my braid for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Very disappointed
I recently went to Tess's for a new doo(actually my second time).......I got the invisible braids, this time I used the human hair kinky straight...........I am in love with this hairstyle. Joselyn, hoping I am spelling it correctly, was my hairdresser. She left my edges out as I asked and did not braid it too tightly(like the first time)..........I recommend this hair braiding salon. They are quick and precise. I saw a client that had a problem with thinning hair , when her stylist did her weave, it was absolutely beautiful.........so go there if you are looking for braids or weaves.......it may be a little pricey but it is worth the look that you get........you will be happy.
