This was my first visit. When walking in you are greeted with a smile. The staff are awesome and very friendly. I was referred here, I want to say it was a good choice. The parking can be a bit hard to find as there is a barber shop next door. The prices are very reasonable. This will be my new salon away from home. I love this place and recommend them definitely.
My hair was clean but dry: I have been to a fair share of salons in different states and countries and never has anyone started a haircut without dampening my hair. My stylist started my cut without even putting a drop of water on my hair. Then he proceeded to just start chopping off without even brushing through my hair once. I am not the expert or a professional so I just assumed this must be his style.
My hair stylist was a pleasant gentleman, I showed him exactly what I wanted (a picture) and explained verbally what I was expecting. I'm almost blind so once I take off my glasses I cannot see ANYTHING.
I will start with the good: everyone is very friendly and welcoming.
Very stylish and professional. Warm decor welcoming staff. I love my stylist Ebon Flagg. He is educated in hair and how it grows. He is patient and knowledge about his work. I definitely recommend this salon
The not so good: I am just sad that I am the one to have the bad experience out of all these lovely experiences here. I got rescheduled four times -- the first time they had no record of my consultation, so I had to go back. the second time they asked me to do an online appointment - which I did; so they called me to tell me that day doesn't work. The third time they called me to say that I need to come at 5:00 instead of my 5:30 appointment (I agreed and came back from work earlier than usual) and then when I reached there I was again rescheduled to finally have a haircut at 5:50 PM.
It's Always a pleasure getting serviced here! The staff is friendly as well as professional. The atmosphere is pleasant.
Very professional and friendly staff;they definitely stand out from the rest.My experience overall was AMAZING.Starting from the moment i booked the appointment (website was easy to navigate),when i walked in (the front desk was really kind to stay with me on the phone for directions, being my first time), the hair assistant (Ninety prep and shampooed my hair ,really did an awesome job.) And finally Ebon (the Hair Stylist), he has a way of transforming that hair into a look that you Will turn heads.Extremely Satisfied and OFFICIALLY A BABE!
I am definitely upset but more than that just surprised at other people's positive experiences. I'm a city girl and no points for guessing where I'll be going next time to get a real haircut.
My tip for anyone who still wants to go here: Get in before 4 PM. Maybe then they wont be in a rush to leave and will give you the attention your hair deserves.
I had specifically said I don't want shorter hair in the front since my hair is frizzy and wavy and I am just not sure if it was my choice of words or accent but everything that happened was opposite of what I had asked for. I look like a pomerian dog, my hair is two different lengths in the front and they are super short and frizzy. My hair length is half of what it was (I asked for an inch or two to be chopped off and I had waist length hair) and this look can only be described as homeless.
