Food was a little on the salty side. Great selection of seafood. Lots of fresh fish prepared any way you want it.
This is premium food quality place. If you go without reservation, you might have to wait at times. Prices are towards higher end but they are justified after you taste the food.
Also, if you plan on having a dinner conversation, you might as well forget it. The place is so loud you have to read the lips of your dinner partner to have any clue what they are saying.
Maybe a great place for families with lot of kids who like fried seafood, but if you want a nice meal and conversation, you should look elsewhere in Wilmington.
The setting and atmosphere was warm and quite elegant. The service was indeed great and the waitresses/waiters are willing to go above and beyond to accommodate you. The food was fulfilling and cooked on an upscale level. It was an overall good experience
Fine, casual little fish restaurant. Mixed appetizer was a good selection. Shrimp with horseradish wrapped in bacon were delicious but we're overdone. Fried oysters were very good. Clams and lobster we're overdone. Service was polite and attentive with the the exception of the bus boy who circled the dining area perpetually like a shark. It became quite comic.
We were drawn by the high level of reviews to this restaurant, but were very disappointed. The food was just average in quality and the prices were actually a little above average. Our very confused server forgot to turn in our appetizer order, got a side order incorrect, mentioned an up charge for substituting a salad for a side order but did not mention the upcharge was $5.00, and forgot our request for a condiment for our fries.
