My only issue is parking. It is limited and timed so just keep that in mind
The server Neal was very rude. I definitely will not be returning, I asked for a desert menu and he acted very arrogant. Then after returning for a long time he didn’t even bring it. Then after asking for a manager he was very rude and we just got our check and left. Definitely will not be returning. After asking for his name from another server I finally got something. Neal Cassidy is the reason I will NEVER come back to this restaurant EVER!
The food was hot and delicious. Portions are nice and filling.
Food is good. I love the shredded chicken tacos. Beer list is decent. Service is usually slow.
Our biggest problem during this visit was the service. Our server was pleasant and did take pains to get the details right for our order, but the outcome was poor. As any restaurant would hope, we all ordered cocktails to socialize and pass the time. I waited at least 15 minutes for a manhattan to arrive and it was a conspicuously short pour. So much so that I walked back in to present it to the server as inadequate. He was standing next to the manager who heard my complaint and the server concurred that it was definitely not right. But then I waited another 5 minutes and still no drink was presented. I walked back inside, and the server, manager, and bartender were still talking, as though they weren't quite sure how to resolve such a complicated issue. Unbelievable. I then chose to replace my order with a simple beer.
Place is absolutely a great establishment. Myself and my wife came in and had lunch (keep in mind lunch for the time frame) and we were greeted at the door and given a seat. The waitress was knowledgeable of the menu and can feel the passion.
Awesome Mexican Gastropub! My first time in, and the waiter was super friendly and attentive, asked me if it was my first time, brought me out a complimentary chip and dip plate that was wicked good! The cheese dip and bean dip were my favorite! Got some of the tacos, that were great and the beer selection was top notch! I will definitely be returning for another vist!
The food was good and well present. It was extraordinarily slow. But, with so many authentic Mexican restaurants in the Wilmington and Chester County area, there's just no reason to go to a place that dilutes its menu and chooses to call it a "spin" on Mexican fare.
