It was girl's night out and my best friend's first night in Wilmington and we visited the tap room and were first off pleasantly surprised that we weren't underdressed in our jeans and tees next to the ballgowns and black tie wearing folks next to us- well done with the choice of environment in which to dine. The real light though, was our amazing waiter Wayne, the hardest working waiter we've ever met! He made excellent menu suggestions and killed it with the crab and asparagus soup recommendation! His timing was impeccable with bringing out the food and refilling our drinks! Our experience was enhanced and we will be back because of Wayne, although this time we might wear ballgowns!
Great wings! I'm not from the area and I'm a picky eater. The staff was polite and friendly. There were a few drink specials happening at the time of my visit. We ordered three appetizers. My favorite were the wings. I asked for them well done and they were cooked exactly how I like them. Crispy skin but the meat was still moist. There are TVs on every wall so no matter were you sit (booth, table or bar) there should be a view of a game.
Attentive staff. Had a happy hour drink and since they serve it in the tall glass you get more chaser than anything else. The drink was awful. But when we switched to Manhattans we were not disappointed! I had the mushroom tacos they left much to be desired. Plus the mushrooms were seasoned with something very spicy. I wouldn’t order again. The staff was great so I would try again
This is an outstanding choice for a variety of dining needs. An excellent lunch with some of the best chicken wings I’ve ever had in my life. It’s a gorgeous space with a wonderful menu and friendly attentive service. I had a small luncheon with some friends and we liked it so much we booked a larger party that same night. Yes — I had the wings TWICE! This is a great hang out place for late night groups too. Live music and somehow the large space also feels intimate.
