Clean, decent selection, but the recent changes to the store layout seems to have reduced the selection. I also have trouble finding things. The staff are helpful, but sometimes hard to find.
Lantana ACME is preferred over Pike Creek ACME. We live equidistant and occasionally I mistakenly stop here at Pike Creek. Quality seafood, meat and stocked organic items. Slow service across the board. Do not shop here if you're in a hurry. Totally miss the self check-out counters. They keep telling customers it was due to loss prevention (i.e. theft), but theft is more appropriately a store management (staffing/training) issue. Lantana is a mile away and seems to have a much better management and service focus. They care, and move the customers quickly.
Lines to cashier's were very long. Not one lane for small amounts of purchases was open except self checkout. I went to self checkout. I have a broken wrist and found it quite difficult to pack my purchases. No one offered to help. It was a frustrating visit today.
For the first time the Deli department had 5 employees cutting and the waiting line moved fast.
The lines can get a little long, at times. But I adore the staff, and they always have a great selection on meats. I love going to see which is on the buy one get one free lists. Plus if you join my myxx you can recieve a free item everyday damn near. If you live on a budget, feed a large family or just like deals...acme is it.
