Presented with a 30+ year old Raleigh road bike that had hung in the garage for over 20 years, it was obvious from the jump that they had a depth of knowledge to advise that it was a quality cycle worth repairing. In much less time that anticipated, they made the bike perfectly road worthy again for a very fair cost. Make no mistake, this is an exceptional cycle shop with very talented and friendly people. I plan to let them fully restore it in the off season since the bike has special meaning for me. I'd trust no one else. Best bicycle shop in the tri-state area without question.
Quality, fair, fast service . I had bought an All-City SS from Garrison's a couple years back, recently decided I wanted to switch from cantilever to disc brakes on the front 5 days before my vacation...could not be happier, they knew exactly which parts ( of the thousands out there)my bike needed to make the conversion, had the parts the next day and installed in time for my vacation. Great work, and thanks again! Forks, wheel, disc brake & rotor.
Drove past a few bike shops to get here after reading the reviews and was not disappointed. These guys are avid riders and their passion is evident the second you enter their beautiful shop. I converted to tubeless and they put Maxxis Ardent tires on. Rode immediately after and the difference was significant. Great shop with knowledgeable, friendly staff that took the extra time to give me some valuable maintenance and riding tips. They've definitely earned my trust and future business!!
Rob, the owner, runs an amazing business here. The staff are friendly and never push something just to make a sale. They listen to their clients needs, recommend multiple products, and are always eager to answer questions. Rob stayed over two hours past closing to make sure the bike was properly tuned and all of my questions were answered! Talk about customer service! Rob shook my hand and said to stop back often. Great experience! I set out today to find a bike within my budget that would be the best setup I could afford at my price range. I first called the closest bike shop to me in Wilmington, they did not seem to have any interest in helping me decide on what would be best for me. My next stop was to Garrison's Cyclery in Centreville, DE. I told them by budget and what I was looking for. I was given very accurate and honest information as well as excellent service. Rob set me up on a bike, adjusted the fit slightly to make sure I was comfortable, and found me the best bike I could have purchased in my price range. I will definitely be back for accessories and future bikes. If you are newer to biking and want to make sure you get the right information, stop here for sure.
