Finance and HR professors are really good. They make sure you understand everything. If you really want to get involved in the business area i recommend it. Plus Faculty and Staff are very friendly.
The graduate programs are great, and they have some great professors who know A LOT and will help, just like some that are not so great and won't help. The material they teach is great. 2 stars because I don't like how the schools caters so much to Indian foreigners on H1B visas, and Muslims foreigners on H1B visas, among others. They should cater to nationals first. Many times, you get classrooms just full of Indians. Many of them don't speak English properly. Some are really not knowledgeable of the graduate material. They are difficult to understand and work with. I have also seen many times Indian cheat and share their homework with each other. I have also felt some of the Indians and Muslims become aggressive at you and even harass. That's not a good education experience. Also, I had this professor Thurley who implied in class that whites were racists and stuff. To me that seemed unprofessional, and should focus on the course material instead.
Good college to go for if you're in the business and management field. Very supportive of non-traditional and international students.
This college published a mail an advertisement blasting music as a profession to try and recruit to thier "Pep" band by saying " going to college for music? Try a real degree instead at our school. Single handley saying the only worthwhile avenue for a major art form only goes with college sports is rediculous. Music has caused revolutions... commented on social issues, just healthy for the mind...additionally I work in the Cyber Security and IT realm and have Some musician friends that make more money than me touring, gigging, and teaching. I highly encourage anyone looking to go to an institution of higher learning to go elsewhere. Additionally, the one program people are saying this school provides "business" must not be great as advertising by offending an entire sector in order to recruit them is bad business.
Only Gave it One Star Because I Had to. Would NOT Recommend to anyone as their first or second choice for a school. Most people transfer after the first semester and it's for a reason. Dorms are super small ( they will stick 3 people in one room that is BARELY big enough for two) Most of the Staff in the housing area are rude and don't really care and will try to charge you for any little thing. Are very quick to take your money but are very slow and seems like almost unwilling to give you your money back when it is time to.Besides the business office always begging you for you to pay them money, their communication is TERRIBLE! It is only through email and if you miss that email you're just SOL. Overall just Sucks as far as a "college experience" goes. They will not even allow partying. even if you're legal age to drink there are still restrictions on how much (which is usually One 16oz bottle) One Good Thing I Will Say is That SOME of the teachers there are Great others not so much.
