She was very inviting from the time she called me which was promptly, until the time I left with my storage unit! I rented a storage unit at Public Storage #25716 located at 3800 Kirkwood Highway in Wilmington, Delaware. The unit was dirty before I moved into it, especially with badly stained floors. The hallways in the building had broken glass. My MAIN COMPLAINT is that the hallways are completely dark because, according to an employee named Stephanie, a customer broke the sensor that turns the light on several months ago. It is a danger to walk in complete darkness in the hallways and then on top of that there is complete darkness inside my personal unit. The light bulb never worked. I refused to keep my personal items in that unit. Therefore, my daughter and grandson moved everything out of the unit on November 3, 2017. My daughter fell backwards while she was removing my belongings because it was completely dark. We complained MANY TIMES about the broken sensor and the darkness, yet NOTHING was ever corrected. When my daughter moved everything out on November 3, 2017, she told the property manager (Francis) what happened and the sensor was still out. Francis replied, "I hope they fix it." There was never any concern for customer safety by any employee of Public Storage. After Francis made that comment, she then said "You owe for the upcoming month's rent."(My rent was paid up until November 1, 2017). My daughter was appalled and told Francis she would call the District Manager. Francis would not give my daughter that phone number. My daughter had to make various phone calls from home to ascertain that the District Manager is Regina Boyle and someone finally provided the phone number. My daughter has tried to contact Regina Boyle MANY times and there has been no response, even after we left messages on her voicemail. My daughter has also contacted the Regional Manager Seth MANY times and she leaves messages but he has NEVER returned her phone calls. I reported Public Storage to the Better Business Bureau.
Excellent service! Frances made renting our units quick and easy! In and out in about 30 minutes. Definitely 5-star service!
