I was a student: class of 2005. This high school was the best of the best at the time, with higher test scores than all the private schools in Delaware. It gave me a solid foundation to earn my civil engineering degree from the University of Delaware. The elective "Intro to Engineering" gave me my first taste of how rewarding engineering is, and helped make my decision to pursue that career. The challenging curriculum and a driven, smart student body were a great environment to encourage success. (There was even a little healthy peer pressure to get high SAT scores and take more AP classes). I highly recommend, and I highly support Charter Schools for this reason.
