Upon asking what the deal was with the price increase the associate told me FedEx provides them with different rates, so they're forced to charge customers higher rates and there's absolutely nothing they could do about it. To me this makes no sense, but I sent what happened to FedEx, so maybe they can make sense of it for me.
Warning!!! You should definitely consider renting a mailbox from this store IF you want to receive OTHER people's mail in YOUR box on a weekly bases. I had to cancel my box for this exact reason. Totally unacceptable. The people who work there were friendly but the mail service is horrible.
UPDATE to response: Owner is flat out lying, I did not call a dozen times to ask the same question. I specifically wanted the package sent via one method, it was sent via a different courier after his employee said it was sent the correct method which I was trying to get a straight answer which method it was shipped and couldn't, owner of store didn't care and said it didn't matter which is wrong as one adds a week of time to shipping. He doesn't know how to count how many calls, nor the reason for the calls. He threatens customers and has the worst manners of any small business I have dealt with in the area. I am done with this place.
My advice, don't EVER get a label from this store unless you want to pay a significantly higher cost for your package. Print out your own label and just drop it off or take it to a genuine FedEx, UPS, or USPS location.
Horrible Experience! I shipped out my wedding band from there over 2 months ago. Package was lost or stolen and have been dealing with this issue since then. Store manager won't return e-mails or phone calls. Even paid for insurance, but cannot resolve the issue until she follows through with claim. I thought I would be safe with paying for the insurance. Apparently that gets you nowhere at this store! I would give 0 stars if I could!
I have gone here for years even before they changed their name, I never had a problem. Recently I called because package was not showing correct tracking - Jeff Cragg, the owner is belligerent and belittling. He literally called himself king of the world. His insults became very personal and I question (I don't have proof) if he is racist based on his comments. After trying to explain that the tracking of the package isn't right, he was adamant that he was right and I was an "idiot". He hung up on me because he is too important to speak to me. I called back to give him a chance to see if he was intentionally rude and he doubled down on his insults. He said he reported me to the police for calling "too many times" because they were angry that I called more than once to try to get a straight answer on the package and that it isn't their problem. I will talk to my friends in police department, but I am pretty sure that calling to find out about your package is not a crime especially if they last had possession and deny any knowledge of where it is, I will post an update of what I find out. If there is an issue, a place like this should try to help you figure out what happened not tell you that you are an "idiot and nimrod" The other people seemed friendly enough, but the owner is so rude you should think twice about doing business of any kind with them. (He sounded like a dirty politician.) I just found out that Staples will do basically the same shipping services for cheaper and at least if there is an issue they won't call you an idiot or nimrod. In addition, he lied about keeping personal information out of their database and stated that they record your name (but tell you they don't) in their computer even if you ask them not to for privacy reason.
Maybe I am ignorant to these types of mail stores, but I was unaware when using this facility you are charged 40% more than if you just printed your own tag or went to the real FedEx, UPS, or USPS store.

They were so helpful mailing my e-commerce merchandise to my customer - great packaging, great prices. Finally I found a company happy to work with small businesses. I will be using their services again
