My son graduated from Widener Law School today and the family went to Bertucci's to celebrate. The manager was personal in his congrats and also his kindness. The atmosphere was wonderful, the service was superb and just a great place to celebrate whether it is for 2 to a larger party. I noticed all the fun the patrons were having in their celebrations and even the staff had fun. I would give it a higher score but only limited to 5 star so I will give it 5 Gold Stars. Great manager! Thank you!
I was at the restaurant Friday 12/8/17. The waitress was not that friendly. She did not check on the party. We had to look for her to get refills. If the gratuity was not added in the bill she would not have gotten 15%.
The wait staff can be a bit coarse and undertrained but are otherwise helpful. The wait staff can also be a bit under-resourced at times... It is common to see only two or three waiters handling the entire restaurant.
Overall, not a place I'd rave about.
Having had a horrible experience at the Bertucci's in nearby Christiana not long ago, we were a bit cautious this time. However, this venue was surprisingly decent.
Bertuccis has excellent pizza. It's pricey but deliciously different. The menu is varied with baked Italian dishes as well as meals with Italian side dishes. Service is good and meals are moderately priced. They also have a busy takeout where you'll receive delicious complimentary warm bread while you wait or to take home.
